hey! this is my first post! anyways, i had the worst veterens day ever! the fack man. i had to get back to riverside to move out of the apartment and into the house. i wanted to get there early, so i woke up at 9am. i was planning on leaving at 11am and ariving at riverside at 1:30pm. but then things ended up me arriving in riverside at around 10:30pm. anyways, heres what happened: i woke up at 9am and i got around to get ready and pack n what not. when i got out of the shower, i found out that my bro didnt even wake up yet (i had to give my bro a ride back to UCI) and it was about 10. he didnt get around to get up at 11am. so there goes my itinerary. after my bro finally got ready, we left about 1pm. then there was the car ride. i was on the I-5 when a CHP car sped past me and then started swerving across the freeway. all the cars had to slow down, while the CHP car was just driving all across the lanes. the lady in the CHP car kept on stopping and getting out n moving stuff off the freeway. she finally pulled off the freeway where this lady was pulled off to the side off the freeway next to the emergency call box. i guess she was in trouble. that whole CHP swerving thing took like 15-20 mins. after awhile, there was heavy traffic. then, near the I-5 and the I-405 merge, i found out why. there was two cars that was in an accident. there was a RV and a civic on the side of the road, i think they were friends helping or something. i drove rite next to one of the cars, man was the car fucked up. the whole front was crushed in and there was steaming coming out of the front. i didnt really get to see the other car. i had to drive all ziggy n zaggy so i wouldnt run over the scrap metal an what not that was on the freeway. but that took like 30 min or so just to get through. after that, it was pretty ok. i got to UCI and dropped off my bro. the dorms at UCI are pretty chill. i should of stayed in the dorms for my first year at UCR, but all well. after that, i was getting hungry, so i decided to go to Lee's sandwhichs in orange county. that place has some good sandwhichs yo. to bad i got lost for like 30 mins, and to make it even worse, there was some construction on Brookhurst st. i didnt really pay any attention until i hit the BIGGEST FUCKING POTHOLE ever! the fuck man. i heard the biggest thud n shit. if that wasnt enough, a panel from the ceiling of car fell off. fack. so i took it off so it wouldnt be hanging all willy nilly n shit. so i was driving around OC lost with wires hanging out of the seiling of my car. i finally found the place n got my sandwhich and a thai tea (with no boba). then im off to riverside, not till i go to Urban Outfitters on Bristol st. that place has some nice stuff yo. saw a cool lamp, so i bought it. i didnt have a lamp for my new place, so i bought it. after that, i was off! until i hit traffic that is. the 55 has some of the worst traffic man. finally got off the 55 and onto the 91, where there was more traffic. finally when i got closer to UCR, traffic started to go away. which was good until i hit some pothole or something. fack man, it was bigger then the one in OC. i was worried that i really messed up my car like my alignment or what not, it was a BIG POTHOLE man. fack. it was ok for awhile, but then my car started to rock, like i was running over those bumps that seperate the lane, but i wasnt. it kept on getting worse, so i pulled of the freeway at University st. i stopped at the Mobil gas station, and i had a fucking FLAT! I i looked at the rim, n there was this small dent in the shape of it. so then i proceeded to get the spare and change my tire. i got the lugnut wrench and tried to loosen the bolts. i couldnt get the first one, so i tried the next one, but that one wouldnt loosen either. so then i tried all o them, and none of them would budge, i was like 'the fuck?' after a few more failed attempts, i stood ON the deng wrench. after that didnt work, i called my roomies for some help. they suggested the emergemcy roadside assistance, so i called them. it was kinda embarassing to call them just for a flat tire, but i tried and i tried, but those bolts just wouldnt come off. so the operator lady said the emergency roadside assistance guy would come in 45 to 60 mins. so i waited. while i was waiting, i realized that i had frozen food in the backseat. not wanting it to get spoiled, i called my roomies again. when they came by to pick it up, i told them to try to loosen the bolts, but they could not. then i showed them what i did. i proceeded to stand on the wrench and move up n down on it. then much to my surprise, i stumbled backwards n the bolt loosened. i was like 'YEA!' so then i tried it again to the rest of the bolts. after a few tries, i loosened the rest of the bolts. finally, i jacked up my car. i was about to call the emergency roadside assistance guy to tell him i didnt need him anymore, but it was a good thing i didnt (or was it a bad thing?) i took out all the bolts then then grabed the tire to take it off. BUT, the deng thing wouldnt budge. pat tried it too, but he couldnt get it off either. we were dumbfounded. so after awhile they left after i remembered that i called the emergency roadside assistance guy. right when my roomies left, the emergency roadside assistance guy came. i told him what happened n how the tire was stuck n all. he tried to take off the tire too, but he couldnt either. so he took a gander at the tire n all. he concluded that the rim was rusted on, and so were the bolts (thats why i had such hard time with them.) so he got an idea. use a HUGE CROWBAR. man was that thing big. i had to do the prying cause he said he couldnt cause of liability shit just in cause he scratched my car or what not. the first attempt didnt do much, so we tried to pry it off in a different spot. i finally got it off. i took a gander at my rim, then i saw there was TWO BIG dent things on the inside of the rim. wtf man. so i have to get that fixed before i use it agian. facking potholes. the emergency roadside assistance guy put on my spare for me and tightened the bolts. the emergency roadside assistance guy said he wont charge since i did most of the tire changing already before he got there, so that was cool. i said thanks n gave him some money anyway, sort of a tip i guess. then he left. i got in my car to finally get to the house n start moving. BUT, when i tried to start my car, it wouldnt start. i guess when i left the radio on n my emergency lights on waiting for the emergency roadside assistance guy, my battery sort a died. so i went to this car that was close by to ask if they had any jumper cables, but nope, they did not. so i went in the gas station to ask if they had any. the clerk guy said he had some in his car, so i borrowed his. i asked some other car for some help to jumpstart the car cause the clerk guy had to watch the gas station n all. after jumpstaring my car, i finally got to the house at around 10:45pm. roughly 9hrs and 15 mins from my intended arrival time. everyone was pretty much done moving, and the truck was pretty much done for the day, since it was almost 11pm, so i couldnt move my bed and my large shit. so i took 2 trips to get most of my stuff from the apartment to the house. then i stayed up until 2am unpacking n organizing n what not. then i finally got some zzz's. man what a holiday.
